We’re Thalo labs. Our mission is to accelerate society’s transition to net-negative emissions with our CO2 mitigation technologies and real-time, actionable data platform. Backed by world-class investors and technologists, we are a fast-growing startup seeking foundational team members who can help us grow not only our product and tech stack, but our vision and our culture.

We are seeking an energetic and self-starting candidate who will be responsible for assembling and testing our systems mechanically and electrically, assisting staff members with various tasks in the office and the laboratory, and building and maintaining our lab as we grow.

What you'll be doing:
Assemble and test our systems (mechanical and electrical)
Assist with hardware deployment in the field
Build and maintain our lab space
Work with engineers to improve and refine the product
Assisting management, and technicians with requests/projects as directed

Job requirements:
Experience working on hardware/software projects and products
Expertise in a related lab/shop environment, including chemical, physical, aerospace mechanical labs in industry or in military service
Top-notch verbal and written communication skills.
Ability and enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment
Well organized and self-managed

Nice to have:
Experience with climate mitigation companies
Experience with complicated hardware/software systems
Experience building teams in new spaces
Experience in gas dynamics and combustion processes or industrial scale chemical products
Salary
$18.00 -28.00 per hour depending on education and experience.
Can be full time or part time
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
No relocation assistance is provided for this position.
Ability to lift 50lbs or more on a regular basis.
