Associate Manager of eCommerce Shopper Marketing
Overview: Abbott Nutrition has an opportunity for an Associate Manager, Shopper Marketing of E-Commerce in its Columbus Ohio office.
Main responsibility is to develop and execute shopper marketing solutions with E-Commerce customers (with primary focus on Amazon.com) aligned with overall business goals and marketing/communication strategies of each business unit. Ensuring Abbott brands lead in all aspects along the digital path to purchase to drive demand. This individual will partner with their Sales counterpart, Category Manager, Shopper Insights teams, Brand Marketing teams, and agencies to develop and deliver integrated plans from idea to execution.
Lead and develop eCommerce content strategy for all brands:
Develop content strategy optimizing for organic search, engagement and education
Partner with internal agency to manage syndication across multiple retailers and manage audit process to ensure proper execution
Manage internal agency
Partner with brands, account teams and internal agency to deliver:
Align Customer and Brand strategies/objectives to identify key business opportunities. Develop Customer specific business building programs that drive profitable growth.
ensuring product content is compliant with basic and enhanced standards including establishing A+ content for our products on Amazon and basic/enhanced content on targeted sites
Work with NAMs and Shopper Marketing to deliver against the 4Ps in E-Commerce, generating multi-item/category solutions
activating “Buy Now” within digital shopper programming, media and merchandising integration
Measurement of program performance and ROI
Oversee and maintain regular content audits across Top 20 accounts
Identify opportunities to grow internal capabilities and support additional accounts
Develop and cultivate relationships with the Customers and key marketing counterparts at the customer.
Identify opportunities for Abbott and the Customers based on a strong understanding of their strategies and shoppers.
Present marketing plans, specific programs, shopper insights, latest research and best practices to the Customer and Brand teams for their input, support and alignment.
Agency and Budget
Develop creative briefs and manage the process with our Shopper Marketing agency, leveraging Brand plans, Customer objectives, and joint partnership programs
Manage budget and agency hours for all trade and shopper programs.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree required with 2+ years in a digital shopper marketing or shopper marketing role (client side or agency) in CPG industry
Specific customer knowledge of Amazon/E-Commerce required
Knowledge of Brand Management, Sales and Retail Marketing
Demonstrates strong communication skills
Ability to present and influence others, including Abbott and Customer leaders
An understanding of Consumer/Shopper, using analytical skills and insights
