GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: This role assists the General Treasurer by managing the logistics for daily events and appearances as well as performing the research efforts that shape the Office’s policy and legislative priorities.
General duties include, but are not limited to, communicating with internal and external contacts to prepare for the Treasurer’s events, conduct site visits, and compile briefing materials. Provide on-site logistical and staff support at events, ensuring smooth transitions from arrival to departure. Follow up on constituent inquiries and assist with special projects, including policy research and social media content development. Interact with administration officials, civic and business leaders, the press, and the public professionally, ensuring timely and courteous responses.
Additional responsibilities include conducting policy and legislation research as directed, supporting day-to-day operations and activities of the Treasurer’s Office, performing other related duties as assigned or required, managing logistics for both internal and external events, assisting with social media coordination.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Works under the general supervision of the Deputy Chief of Staff who reviews work for conformance to established procedures and regulations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A 2-year degree from a recognized college/university is required, but a 4-year degree is preferred.
The successful candidate will have prior work or internship experience in government, non-profit, or related fields. Experience working with senior management is preferred. General knowledge of state and local governments is a plus.
