Automation SE is seeking a CNC machinist to aid our company in its mission to deliver custom filling and packaging machinery as a high-quality product for our customers. As one of our CNC machine operators, you will use technical drawings and CNC programs to set up machines and monitor them as they operate. You will contribute greatly to the precision and customization we offer our customers for filling and packaging machinery. You will experience continued on the job training as you’re able to expand your experience and knowledge of the on-site machines. If you desire, you can also develop skills such as CNC programming.
Job Responsibilities:
- Determine tools necessary to complete jobs according to specifications and mount them to machine prior to beginning cutting
- Understand and follow instructions provided in drawings by paying attention to detail in the manufacturing of parts
- Modify machine speed, tooling and cutting style to ensure precision and accuracy of manufactured parts
- Oversee cutting process, make adjustments throughout each job, catch mistakes as they happen and take necessary measures to eliminate errors
- Review and interpret cutting plans, enter them into control outlets before jobs and alter them to correct mistakes when necessary
- Inspect all finished products for accuracy and uniformity to ensure product quality, including deburring parts
- Utilize and read measurement tools such as calibers, gauges scales, etc. to ensure accuracy
- Understand basic math skills, such as converting fractions into decimals
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure machine longevity, including lubrication, cleaning and tool replacement
- Maintain a neat and clean work environment
Required Job Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable using tools and maintaining machinery
- Open to a collaborative and fluid shop environment
- Familiarity with FANUC controls
- At least 3 years’ experience operating CNC machines
Job Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday 6 AM - 4:30 PM (30 minute lunch)
- Fridays Off

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
