THE POSITION
Looking for someone to perform standard bookkeeping duties in recording, reviewing, and processing financial records and documents.

Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; however, hours may vary due to travel, after hour appointments, etc.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Employee will record daily and enter all expenditures and income in Quickbooks, check general ledger account numbers, vendor numbers and totals before processing invoices for payment, record journal transfers and verify completion , reconcile with County general ledger, allocate quarterly expenses to appropriate quarterly reports, account for expenses, program receipts, placements, IV-E eligibilities, salaries/benefits, journal transfers, contract per diems, and other income to be used in the computing of quarterly invoices.

May assist in completing required CYS reports. Attend trainings and conferences and cross train with other personnel.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Qualifications:
Must meet PA residency requirement
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements - one year as a Fiscal Assistant or three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or one year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
