B3 Group is looking for a multi-talented marketing/project manager. The Marketing & Project Manager will identify areas that need improving or updating and finding solutions through program management and data analysis tools. Pro-actively engages present and future stakeholders in design, priority setting, and implementation. This position will provide operational program support to the Veteran Affairs Acquisition Academy (VAAA).
The Marketing & Project Manager role involves project management support, technical writing support, project documentation and marketing support for VAAA. The successful candidate will have expertise and a working knowledge of SharePoint content management functions such as page editing and creation, workspace editing and creation, report creation and viewing, and management of user permissions to view, add, delete, and edit specific items. This role will ensure consistent business practice throughout the Veterans Affairs Acquisition Academy by developing and documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The Marketing & Project Manager ensures the project is completed on time, within the budget and at the required quality level.
Support government program and project managers with data driven feasibility studies that address VA Acquisition Academy issues.
Data management, gather organization performance data, analyze data and develop solutions (data analysis from surveys, registrations, and business process descriptions)
Communication and Marketing lead for the Program Management School PMO team
Consultant to government teams, identify inefficiencies and risk, draft recommendations, develop and implement solutions
Education and Skill Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university with coursework in business administration, accounting, finance or mathematics
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, MS Access, and Project
Thorough understanding of project management phases, techniques and tool
Ability to accept and learn from constructive feedback
Knowledge and Experience:
Minimum of 8 years’ experience
Principles and techniques of project management
Report preparation and presentation methods
Computer software applications used to create spreadsheets and analyze data (Excel, MS Project)
Marketing and communication strategies
Desired / Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and/or other federal organizations.
Experience with Agile methodology and Scrum approach.
Preference will be given to those individuals where their primary residency is located in a qualified HUBZone (https://maps.certify.sba.gov/hubzone/map/)
