POSITION SUMMARY

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible to contribute to the Evoqua’s global Talent Acquisition strategy and direct the execution of all related strategic initiatives and activities. Through these efforts, the Talent Acquisition Manager will attract top talent, continue to elevate Evoqua’s position as a recognized ‘top employer’, improve the candidate experience, cultivate key talent pipelines, and hire team members who excel & thrive in their roles.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Establish Talent Acquisition Strategy

Work with all key stakeholder groups to craft, and continuously improve, Evoqua’s Global Talent Acquisition strategy

Cultivate Talent Pipelines for Key Roles

Identify and map future talent needs and proactively builds a pipeline of exceptional talent: includes identifying, meeting with, and cultivating top talent for future roles
Designs, delivers and ownership of a rotational program and university hires, including identification and management of university recruitment process (includes internship, coops, etc.), program management and support (employees and managers), branding on campus and owning employee until placement in regular role

Lead & Direct Recruitment Activities

Manage an efficient hiring process, ensuring that hiring managers are kept up to date on the status of candidates and that candidates receive frequent communication throughout the hiring process. Develop hiring manager’s abilities to utilize engaging recruitment strategies to increase their proficiency and engagement to source and attract top talent. Coach hiring managers on effective interview techniques, modeling effective interviewing, and guiding them through evidence-based decision-making
Identifies new opportunities to partner with stakeholders and vendors to increase effectiveness of talent acquisition activities (i.e.: job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, job board procurement, digital and non-digital employment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning, talent planning, employee value proposition, etc.)
Manages all third party recruitment agencies and staffing firms associated with Talent Acquisition; manages the procurement and measurement process ensuring performance aligns to service level agreements (i.e.: contingent worker / temporary employee vendor, RPO, search firms, training, sourcing mechanisms / vendors, technologies and licenses, sources, websites, branding, employee value proposition, etc.)
Champion consistency and standards in recruitment policies and practices while overseeing all aspects of the talent acquisition process (including but not limited to process, materials, sourcing, attracting, recruiting, interviewing, life-cycle, systems, policies, recruiting software, social strategy and assessments) related to all aspects of candidate experience, including screening, interviews, travel, background checks, offers, and onboarding
Ensure external recruitment partners understand our business, brand, goals and deliver expected candidate experience that deliver expected candidate experience.
Participates and sets up employee events, such as career fairs

Continuous Improvement

Establish an evidence-based approach to analyzing activity and trends through appropriate data collection and metrics along with anecdotal summaries of sourcing and hiring trends
Liaise with multiple internal stakeholders (managers, leaders, HR business partners / generalists, shared services, legal, etc.) to improve processes and ensure needs are met and managed appropriately
Establishes workforce planning materials and approach

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors Degree

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Experience engaging business leaders to develop a strategy
Experience running talent acquisition
Experience working with universities and implementing rotational programs
Ability to work with and manage vendor relationships
Analytical and drives proactive solutions
Experience managing multiple projects and programs
Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Experience a Plus
