Full Job Description
SCAD seeks an Assistant Director of Training/Counselor to perform various counseling roles.
In this position, you will perform individual and group counseling as assigned, maintain an active caseload of students, provide students with community referrals as needed, conduct outreach programming, and attend weekly case conferences. You will also consult with academic departments, residence life, the registrar’s office, academic affairs, admission, and other departments as needed regarding mental health issues. Lastly, you will be responsible for coordination and oversight of the center’s training program for masters and doctoral level practicum and intern students.
The ideal candidate has experience with clinical training and supervision and credentials as a clinical supervisor. Three or more years of experience working in college counseling is preferred.
