We are seeking personal and commercial lines agents who are licensed in at least five states and who have experience selling nationally. They are comfortable working with the top AMS’ while also learning how to use some of the latest technologies coming out of Silicon Valley - all while servicing a massive and growing book of business.

Job Summary:
As a Licensed Sales Agent at COVU, you will be responsible for managing client accounts within our insurance agency or brokerage. You will play a key role in building and maintaining client relationships, managing insurance policies, and providing exceptional service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs, and providing them with personalized service.
- Policy Management: Overseeing the issuance, renewal, and adjustment of insurance policies for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Risk Assessment: Analyzing clients' risk exposure and recommending appropriate insurance coverage to mitigate risks.
- Policy Reviews: Conducting regular reviews of clients' insurance policies to ensure they are up-to-date and adequately cover their evolving needs.
- Sales Support: Collaborating with sales representatives to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing client accounts.
- Market Research: Staying informed about industry trends, new insurance products, and regulatory changes to provide clients with relevant advice and options.
- Amendment and account rounding: Assisting and processing changes on policies to assist and help our clients receive the best coverage options available.
- Administrative Tasks: Handling administrative duties such as maintaining client records, preparing reports, and processing insurance documents.
- Compliance: Ensuring that all client interactions and transactions comply with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Client Education: Educating clients about insurance products, coverage options, and risk management strategies to help them make informed decisions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in insurance sales or account management.
- Strong understanding of insurance products and policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze and assess client needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in the insurance industry.
- Proficiency in using technology and software for managing client accounts and insurance policies.
