CACI’s Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector, is seeking a Lead AI/ML Cloud Solutions Architect interested in forming and leading a team of Solutions Architects in support of DIA’s TALOS mission. TALOS is a DIA initiative to advance the state of the art in Big Data, data analysis, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and advanced analytics to enhance the DoD’s and the IC’s information processes and technical architectures.
What You’ll Get to Do:
The Lead AI/ML Cloud Solutions Architect will lead a team of Solutions Architects collaborating with the developers, operations integrators, users, and customers to craft requirements in support of the mission, designing a responsive vision, identifying innovative solutions, and driving the development process. You’ll be able to build and lead this team based on your vision in support of DIA, the IC, and Combat Commands (COCOMs).
Demonstrate existing capabilities and prototypes to potential customers
Support the program’s business development needs through white papers, ROMs and proposals that address customer needs
Engage with product development teams during design, creation, and test phases to ensure that new capabilities satisfy end-user needs
Identify technical and bureaucratic roadblocks early and eliminate them
Monitor and report status on budget, schedule and scope
Create contract deliverables such as briefings and reports that effectively communicate accomplishments and lessons learned to stakeholders
Primary POC to address customer and development questions, concerns, and requirements
You will provide leadership and guidance to a team of Solutions Architects helping steer the Portfolios in direct support of the customer
Frequent collaboration with the customer and other SMEs to ensure the software developed meets the mission need
Monitor development progress through sprint planning, sprint reviews, scrums, and engagement with individual developers
Attend monthly program management reviews to provide project status, discuss issues and demonstrate achievements
Collaborate with others to develop customer requests for white papers, ROMs and proposals
Maintain awareness of IC initiatives to support vision-casting and strengthening of the program’s competitive position
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Must have an Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Experience with Agile Software Development process
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant professional experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A bias toward action on behalf of user needs
Value for honesty and transparency with team members and customers
Nice to Have Qualifications:
Small to medium project management experience
Familiarity with a variety of OSINT and PAI data types, data fusion, and analytic methodologies
Familiarity with REST services, cloud computing (esp. Amazon Web Services), and database storage technologies
Familiarity with Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
