Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Posts claim payments in the electronic health record
Identifies denied claims and notifies supervisor Assists Billing Specialist as needed
Reviews patient profiles for accuracy and makes corrections as needed
Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: This position requires general office knowledge and basic computer skills, including skills with Microsoft Word and Excel. Accounts receivable experience is preferred preferred. This position also requires excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. Must demonstrate strong attention to detail. The ability to work within a team and serve as a trusted expert for assigned duties is necessary. In addition, organizational and problem solving skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential. Educational Requirements: This position requires a high school diploma or GED. Additional college level accounting, finance or math classes are beneficial.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.
