**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a clean and organized retail environment.
**Duties**
- Greet and assist customers, responding to their needs and providing personalized recommendations.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the store's products, including features, benefits, and pricing.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register and point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Utilize effective communication skills to communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by resolving customer complaints, answering product questions, and addressing concerns.
- Collaborate with other team members and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
- Maintain a clean and organized retail environment, including the store, stockroom, and sales floor.
- Operate a phone efficiently, handling customer inquiries and providing product information.
- Supervise and assist less experienced sales associates as needed.
- Perform basic math calculations to operate a cash register, manage inventory, and complete sales transactions.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in retail sales, with a strong background in customer service and sales.
- Proficiency in basic math and retail math.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish (bilingualism is an asset).
- Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sales skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Availability to work wide variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
