14 West is seeking an Editorial Intern to join our client, The Oxford Club, and become a member of The Agora’s Summer 2019 Internship Program.
At The Agora Companies, we believe in empowering people to live the lives they truly want for themselves- and that includes our employees and our interns. Oftentimes that requires people to look at the world around them a little differently, to challenge popular belief, and to take risks.
Needless to say, our companies like to do things a little differently. Our internships are no exception.
Whether you’re asked to collaborate, compete, research, revise, test, write or develop- you’ll be working side by side with the creators of the alternative press. You won’t be asked to file, you’ll be asked for your opinion. You will be challenged. You will love the work you do to the point of madness.
But most importantly, you’ll never find a better internship.
The Oxford Club, a leading independent financial publisher and one of Baltimore Sun’s “Top Workplaces,” is searching for the perfect Editorial Intern for Summer 2019. Their office is located in historic Mt. Vernon in downtown Baltimore.
They’re looking for a talented writer and editor who’s excited to get a taste of the digital publishing industry. Under the guidance of a Managing Editor (ME), you’ll edit free e-letter content, write editorial mentions, manage a video series, produce SEO content and help to improve their Members’ overall experience and engagement. Finally, you will help the ME analyze results and identify opportunities to grow the franchise.
This role requires a true self-starter who isn’t afraid to share ideas and shake things up. You’ll work closely with their editorial, web, creative and marketing teams, so you must be a team player who values open and honest debate.
This is the perfect internship for a highly organized and creative person looking to get a taste of the digital publishing industry.

About The Agora
The Agora is a network for more than 40 media and marketing companies around the world which share one ideology – to be willing not only to imagine what is possible, but also to fiercely pursue it. What began in 1978 as a single publication has evolved into what is now thought of as a community. Today, The Agora strives to be a space on the leading edge of the media industry in which like-minded people can come together to share ideas, methods, and insight. This year alone, this network produced and marketed over 300 publications reaching more than 4 million people around the globe - more readers than The New York Times or the Wall Street Journal. And this figure will only continue to grow. The Agora Companies are each independently operated in the major cities of 16 countries, and collectively represent more than one billion dollars in revenue annually.
