Principal Responsibilities:
Excellent architecture expertise with in-depth understanding of cloud architecture patterns

Ability to whiteboard solutions interactively with customers and develop robust architectural documentation
High comfort level using one or more automation tools or orchestration application stacks and frameworks (e.g. Azure Stack, OpenStack, Cloud Stack, VMware vCO, or Microsoft SCO)
Experience with developing and managing cloud-computing environments like Amazon EC2, Azure and/or GCP
Experience developing scalable cloud microservices using container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Mesosphere
Ability to develop and debug software scripting and code in at least one of the following languages (Powershell, Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby, Java, Javascript, etc.)
Understanding of architecture and use cases for configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible, and SALT Stack
Leverage DevOps tools like GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, Artifactory, Zephyr, etc. to deliver automation and promote a DevOps culture
Experience with building and running large scale, distributed, highly-available, fault-tolerant, multi-tier applications running on both Windows and Linux
Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of detail

Job Level Specifications:
Complete understanding of latest IT technologies, technical standards, principles, concepts and advanced techniques.
General knowledge of other related disciplines.
Develops solutions to complex problems where advanced analysis of data and technology is required.
Demonstrates good judgment in determining best techniques to achieve results.
Work is performed without appreciable direction using independent judgment and discretion.
Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives.
Work may be reviewed at a high level from a relatively long-term perspective, for desired results.
Experience with cloud solutions to include private and hybrid infrastructures.
Frequently represents organization as a prime technical contact on projects or contracts.
Interacts with external professionals on significant technical matters requiring coordination between organizations.
Actions impact the success and completion of a project.
Failure to accomplish work or erroneous decisions will result in serious project delays and expenditure of substantial resources to remedy.
Typically 5-8 years with bachelors' or equivalent experience in IT

Considerable experience implementing technical solutions and relevant documentation.
80% Travel required.
Industry certifications focused on DevOps preferred

Additional skills desired:
Skilled with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Visio). Can create RunBook (Technical Guide).
Excellent communication and project-related skills are also required
