Position requires the daily review of retailer supplied fuel stations, commission agent locations and analyzes relative competitive position, fuel volume and margin trends, and the competitive landscape to make daily pricing decisions. This includes Saturday and holiday reviews.
Collaborates with sales, IT, help desk, supply and pricing recommended pricing strategy in conjunction with sales planning process.
Takes comprehensive view of market and can work on building optimization models.
BS in Business, Mathematics, Finance, Administration, or Marketing.
2+ years industry experience desired.
Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills such as Excel, access, SAP.
High analytical and negotiation competence.
Handles complex analyses well with little supervision.
Special Characteristics/Job Requirements:
Research, analyze, and implement gasoline and distillate price changes at 180+ terminals.
Provide accurate statistical data and recommend changes in pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
Provide oversight for Sales Forecast and identify areas of risk/opportunity. (pricing elasticity)
Monitor and analyze the competitive environment, staying apprised of all issues relating to pricing and supply.
