Responsibilities and Duties:
Administer, coordinate and manage the marketing function of the company.
Be fully aware of competition and reports their disposition to the HME Director to overall assessment.
Develops and implements marketing targets by month, quarter and year.
Develop a sales plan with scheduled sales calls and cold calls on potential and /or existing referral sources.
Develop and maintain sales relationships with potential and /or existing referral sources.
Provide customer service guidance to all company personnel interacting with customers or potential customers.
Prepare presentations, including pricing information, within the guidelines approved by the HME Director and/or company owner(s).
Represent the company at community functions such as open houses and support group meetings attended by potential referral sources and / or patients.
In conjunction with the HME Director and / or company owner(s), provides for the enhancement of activities relating to marketing and business development so as to profitably increase marketing volume.
Actively pursues marketing opportunities which will contribute to the growth and profitability of the company.
Maintain / manage on behalf of the company, contact and other pertinent information on doctors, home health care representatives and other potential referral sources.
Continuously update knowledge of trends and market conditions in the home health care and equipment industry as well as the medical supply industry.
Recommend and develop new market segments and products to company management for development.
Submit weekly reports to the HME Director that detail current marketing activities / sales calls as well as plans for future marketing activities.
Work hand in hand with and have excellent communication with all levels of staff.
Promotes teamwork among co-workers, including assisting fellow office workers, as needed.
Demonstrates timeliness, courtesy, sincerity and patience when dealing with customers.
Markets the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Assumes other duties that may be assigned in the future by the HME office manager and/or HME Director.
