We currently have an opening on our Sales team for an Internal Investment Consultant!

Summary:

Partner with external sales professionals by building and maintaining territory business

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • 1. Identify new opportunities to increase sales and achieve goals.
  • Drive results and promote Brinker's investment products and services by delivering key messages through targeted prospecting activities including cold calls.
  • Establish a thorough understanding of the investment management industry and utilize this knowledge to position our products and services effectively.
  • Support our External Sales Director in developing and executing the business plan to generate territory sales.
  • Build, grow, and maintain new and existing advisor relationships.
  • Train advisors to deliver the investment story and process.
  • Assist advisors in closing end-investor business.
  • Maintain sales contact database utilizing Salesforce.
  • Distribute materials to regional directors, advisors and clients.
  • Set and maintain expectation levels on new business with Regional Director.
  • Prepare special reports and material for advisors as needed.
  • Learn the ProGen Proposal System well enough to train advisors.
  • Continue education and training within the investment industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business or related major.
  • 3+ years Financial Industry Experience.
  • Currently hold Series 7, 63, 65/66 or ability to obtain within 90 days.
  • Must be a highly motivated individual with excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, be able to work independently, and multi task.
