JOB DESCRIPTION:
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

A Project Management Associate (PMA) performs a myriad of project support tasks. They support the Project Managers to monitor work efforts, assign resources, delegate tasks and generate status reports. They design templates, create presentations, maintain project information repository and document all project-related assignments, issues and risks. PMAs also help review and edit project deliverables, resolve project conflicts, identify resource requirements and align the project team on project scope. They observe existing project management practices and propose improvements for process efficiency.

Other job duties include:
  • Plans, coordinates, develops, and implements support for various pre-deployment training activities as assigned; supports course moderator and backfills for the role as needed
  • Performs various operational, clerical, and/or administrative support tasks as assigned
  • Serves as back-up support in the day-to-day coordination of training activities
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar Project Coordinator or Project Associate role
High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Moderate proficiency in MS Project
Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of business and technical personnel
General analytical skills with fundamental understanding of technical concepts and business processes
Strong technical acumen with good customer relationship skills
High work standards and a low threshold for errors and inefficient processes
Communicates clearly and concisely with diverse audiences, in both oral and written contexts
Comfortable giving and receiving feedback
