The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Vehicle Operations facility in York is our final assembly plant. Employees at York also perform a variety of manufacturing operations, including fabrication, welding, polishing and painting and produce a wide range of current and replacement parts for all models. Join our team as a Associate Supply Chain Analyst.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the execution of Supply Chain Management activities and projects. The position will serve as the main interface with the supplier and performs the forecasting, inventory management, and general purchasing functions for an assigned set of parts and accessories. The position will utilize inventory planning concepts and techniques to develop inventory plans, expedite, de-expedite, and re-plan deliveries as necessary to prevent backorders or excess stock. This position will prepare reports, identify process improvements, and work with suppliers on corrective actions to prevent quality issues.

Job Responsibilities

Demonstrates a fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain gained through education or past experience.
Utilizes Supply Chain concepts and techniques to support the Organization.
Uses existing Material Requirement Planning (MRP)/Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP), statistical forecasting systems, statistical concepts and techniques to analyze information with guidance and direction from more senior level roles.
Proactively supports the Supply Chain group by being accountable for their contributions in meeting the objectives.
Communicates effectively with stakeholders such as Portfolio Management, Quality, Supply Base Management, and Dealer Services through the exchange of information, asking questions and checking for understanding.

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Required

Typically requires no previous professional experience.
Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain and understanding of functions such as forecasting, inventory planning, and purchasing.
Willingness and skills to work effectively within a group/or team.
Travel required up to 10%.
