WHAT IS THE JOB?
The Planning Assistant works with the Mashburn merchandising and planning teams by assisting with sales and inventory planning, receipt reconciliation, ad hoc reporting by classification and season. This position is dynamic and fast-paced and requires forging trusted cross-functional partnerships. This position reports to the Director of Planning and is a full-time, salary non-exempt role based in Atlanta.
WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES?

Assist the planning and merchandising departments with receipt reconciliation by subclass, by month

Assist with SKU building and purchase order maintenance
- Assist the Director of Planning with creating and updating ad hoc reports in Excel including weekly business recaps

Collaborate with the divisional merchandisers on style planning by season to maintain Open-to-Buy targets

Assist with the management of Basic Stock Replenishment Inventory

Become a super user of the internal planning system (ANT)

Participate in weekly store feedback calls; react and execute accordingly

Analyze in-season business opportunity and risk associated with sales, inventory movement and deliveries

Assist in achieving annual DTC sales plans
WHAT ARE THE ESSENTIAL SKILLS?

Passion for product and an interest in telling a story with numbers

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Working knowledge of retail math

Ability to build collaborative relationships with cross functional partners
