Equidox by Onix is currently seeking a dedicated, self-motivated individual to join the team of document remediation specialists.
The Equidox by Onix Team helps customers convert inaccessible documents into an accessible format for those with disabilities who use assistive technology.
Digital accessibility is a law at all levels and Equidox by Onix helps organizations achieve and maintain ADA Compliance. As part of an entrepreneurial team in this rapidly growing business, you will work with cutting-edge technologies and help shape the future of how document and web accessibility is achieved.
You will be provided with in-depth training to help you understand document accessibility and Onix's proprietary PDF remediation tool Equidox and remediation techniques.
Reporting to our Accessibility Director, your responsibilities will include:
Remediation of documents to ensure compliance with accessibility standards
Training of clients on Equidox tools and remediation techniques
Support our sales teams with demos and client presentations
Required Skills and Experience
Passionate about helping people with disabilities in all areas of their lives by making electronic information accessible
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
Ability to participate in multiple projects concurrently.
Strong work ethic
Highly motivated, flexible and solution-oriented.
High School degree or higher
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience with Section 508, WCAG 2.0 and other accessibility standards a plus
Experience using Adobe Acrobat Professional a plus
Experience using Adobe InDesign a plus
