Our HRIS Analyst will join a team of talented HR professions. This position will be responsible for the maintenance of a new human capital management system (HCMS) in addition to other systems associated with the HCMS. This position serves as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS analyst also supports HRMS implementations, upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.
Assists in the review, testing and implementation of HCMS upgrades or patches
Consistently assessing ways to optimize the system, ensuring efficiency and functionality
Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade/fix
Troubleshoots to find resolution to technology issues
Maintains HCMS tables and codes
Documents processes and results
Ensures inter-dependencies between internal and external systems are maintained
Serves as System Administrator and Power User of the HCMS
Updates user access, assigned roles and manager changes
Constructs back-end settings to achieve desired outcomes
Works collaboratively with human resource team members to continually update, secure, and manage HR data
Provides support for HCMS, including researching and resolving HCMS problems, unexpected results or process flaws Attaches insurance profiles to patient accounts
Performs scheduled activities
Recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements
Recommends process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation
Serves as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g. payroll)
Manages projects effectively with a focus on initiative results
Writes, maintains and supports a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools
Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs
Designs custom reports, ad hoc reports and dashboards
Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data
Develops user procedures, guidelines and documentation
Trains on new processes/functionality
Trains new system users
Maintains awareness of current trends in HCMS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies
Examines trends in information systems training, materials and techniques
Increases both HR knowledge and HCMS application/tools knowledge
Bachelor’s degree and two (2) or more years of relevant Human Resources experience.
(2) years of systems implementation and results oriented project management experience
Experience with Ultimate Software preferred
