We are looking for a full time medical assistant/receptionist for a medical spa located in the Sugar Land area. We also have a second location in West University. The position may require working both locations depending on scheduling needs. The ideal hire would have an upbeat attitude, professional appearance, organized, and ability to multitask. Proficiency with computers is necessary for the position due to all of our scheduling and documentation done electronically. Job Responsibilities
- Checking patients in/out
- Scheduling appointments
- Managing Social Media
- Capturing before and after pictures of patients
- Answering phones
- Processing new patients
- Electronically managing patient records
- Processing payments (cash, check, card)
- Recording payments in daily deposit records
- Maintaining patient confidentiality
- Understanding procedures and products offered
- Restocking rooms
- Cleaning facilities
- Assisting healthcare providers for smooth clinic operations
- Performing clinical duties (taking patient history, preparing for exams, administering medications)
- Assisting with minor non-surgical, in-office procedures
- Ensuring accurate patient records and handling inquiries
- Maintaining facility cleanliness
- Providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Assisting with scheduling and multi-line telephone inquiries
- Being open to cross-training between front and back office duties
