We have an immediate opening for an Information Technology (IT) Administrator. The IT Administrator is responsible for Oracle Utilities deployments and providing internal IT support for Red Clay. Assignments are usually time sensitive and business critical, therefore a strong work ethic, sense of urgency and commitment to quality work is required.
As an IT Administrator, you will:
Work closely with team members to solve complex issues (usually time sensitive and business critical) in a positive manner
Proactively identify opportunities to save costs and more effectively manage server infrastructure
Problem and root cause management in the areas of system performance, security and connectivity
Participate in process improvement initiatives
Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure that supports application resilience
Provide on-call support services with flexible hours and schedule
Tune hardware and software configurations for local and client environments
Adhere to deployment procedures and standards
Identify system and/or application issues and the ability to work with users and/or clients if needed to resolve issues
Provide desktop and related software support to RCC employees, Administration of RCC's internal server systems – network, server, storage, telephony
Setup audio/visual as required for meetings
This position requires no travel.
Undergraduate degree in Network Systems Administration, Information Systems Technology, Engineering, or related technology field.
1-5 years' experience in the following subjects:
Hypervisor: VMware 6.x and above
Networking: TCP/IP, SonicWALL – firewalls and VPN, Wi-Fi management, switch configuration including VLANs and Trunking, Dell multi-switch technologies
Server Operating Systems: Windows Server 2012 and above, Red Hat Linux 5.x and above, Oracle Linux
Client Operating Systems: Windows 10
Applications: Office 365 – Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Visio/Project, Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Zoom, Vonage, Digium, WebLogic, Veeam, Oracle VM and OVM Manager, Active Directory, LDAP, DNS/WINS
Scripting: Shell scripting, PowerShell
