Disney Theatrical Group is seeking a staff assistant for the business and legal affairs department. This position works with and supports a legal assistant, three attorneys and three paralegals.

In addition, DTP licenses musical titles for local, school and community theatre productions through Music Theatre International, including The Lion King Experience, a unique holistic arts education program wherein accredited elementary and middle schools produce condensed, age-appropriate JR. and KIDS adaptations of The Lion King.
The responsibilities of this job include maintaining the master file list; filing documents within the office, both physically and electronically, and sending them offsite for back up storage; tracking files; uploading documents to an online storage data base; maintaining binders; sending contracts for execution using DocuSign and by hard copies; supporting the legal assistant, including generating correspondence; fielding phone calls; and maintaining calendars and contract binders.
Basic Qualifications :
The appropriate candidate will have prior relevant experience in a legal department, either in a law firm or in-house legal department, and/or other substantive exposure to contracts (specifically theatre or other entertainment contracts); great attention to detail; accuracy and consistency in completing repetitive tasks; good communication skills, both written and oral; and the ability to work both efficiently and accurately under time pressure.
