Inspired Spine Technologist

Attend surgical cases, providing surgeons and operating room (O.R.) staff information about the technical features and proper use of orthopedic instruments and implants and ensure all implants, instruments and disposables required for each case are properly prepared and available. Support Inspired Spine marketing initiatives and activities as required. Support Inspired Spine research activities, including, but not limited to, collection and proper documentation of perioperative data. Acquire expertise regarding all Inspired Spine conservative protocols to demonstrate a sufficient understanding of all aspects of the Inspired Spine Patient Journey. Act as principal customer contact regarding technical product support and problem resolution, provide marketing, research and product operations support. Provide expeditious, timely and courteous handling of all customer questions and requests.

Responsibilities:

- Surgical Case Support: Provide technical information on the use, application, and available training for products both prior to and during surgical procedures; assist surgeons as required and requested.

- Document every call/incident (inquiry and complaints) and prepare reports regarding the product issues that arise during surgical cases.

- Provide pre- and post-procedure support by organizing and inventorying products, instruments, etc

- Inventory Management: ensure product and disposables inventory maintained at sufficient levels to ensure availability of required product for every surgical case; ensure all instrumentation in proper working order and back-up instruments available during every surgery

- Deliver product sets/kits to and from accounts

- Assist Operations with returned goods resulting from field service issues

- Coordinate testing of returned product for maintenance and evaluation

- Handle requests for the return of the products related to stock adjustments and administrative processes, consistent with Company procedures

- Address and/or resolve issues/problems that pertain to products, field application of product, or service to ensure superior account maintenance

- Advise and counsel customers on their product needs, as appropriate

- Assist customers in purchasing/consignment of products

- Maintain product and professional skills competence through training and other available means; participate in continuing education seminars and refresher product/instrumentation training on a periodic basis

- Effectively identify and troubleshoot instrument-related problems experienced by our customers both during and post-procedure

- Support Inspired Spine marketing initiatives as required

- Ensure that all perioperative data is accurately collected and input into Inspired Spine's database

- Assist, as required, with Inspired Spine research projects

- Acquire expertise regarding all Inspired Spine conservative protocols to demonstrate a sufficient understanding of all aspects of the Inspired Spine Patient Journey

Minimum Qualifications:

- Demonstrated ability to apply office technology (e.g., ERP systems and Microsoft Access, Excel and Word)

- Demonstrated problem solving and interpersonal communication skills

- Demonstrated detail orientation

- Bachelor’s Degree

- Experience in the healthcare field is a plus
