Job Description
A small and busy commercial litigation firm has an immediate opening for an administrative assistant. Candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative and legal secretarial duties. Candidates should be comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to multi-task. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office/Outlook and have strong typing skills. Law firm experience is strongly preferred, but willing to consider candidates with other office experience.
· Providing administrative support to more than one attorney
· Document preparation/drafting of legal documents and correspondence
· Enters, tracks, and coordinates new client/matter information
· E-filing processes (Experience in PACER/ECF and Odyssey is a plus)
· Invoicing and drafting pre-bills (Experience in Bill4Time is preferred)
· Keeping track of attorney’s time
· Entering client cost into billing system
· Case/file management
· Maintain and monitor attorney calendars, assuring that attorneys are notified of up upcoming hearings
· Light accounts payable and receivable duties
· Scheduling client meetings, conference calls, court reporters, depositions and hearings
· Other duties as assigned

Position to begin as in office, with the possibility to work from home one to two days a work depending on workflow after training.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $59,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
