Responsibilities
As a EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATOR you will be responsible for the following duties:

Serves as Special Assistant (SA) to the Principal Deputy Director, National Reconnaissance Office (PDDNRO).
Based on knowledge of PDDNRO's priorities and views, independently plans and directs the day-to-day operations of the PDDNRO office and staff.
Provides a wide range of high level executive administrative services to assist in efficiently carrying out the NRO mission.
Provides a comprehensive range of direct executive level office support, extensive scheduling and meeting/appointment coordination, tracking and monitoring of ongoing projects and initiatives, and coordination of foreign and domestic travel.
As a key member of the management staff, attends meetings, off-sites, etc. and has full authority to individually task NRO members and delegate meetings to senior managers on behalf of the PDDNRO.
Schedules business and social events and prepares the PDDNRO for meetings.
Reviews correspondence from both internal and external sources including NRO Directorates and Offices, military services, their staffs, and the general public.
Reviews and analyzes related documents, hardcopy and via e-mail, to acquire information concerning the subject.
Obtains information from other sources, as necessary to analyze and, evaluate documents as to intended purpose (style, manner of presentation, organization, and structure).
Provides input to study groups and panels pertaining to administrative support responsibilities and future plans.
Keep abreast of new policies, procedures, regulations, directives, etc.
Presents and discusses a range of subjects such as resource management, logistics, personnel, administrative support functions, automation issues, etc.
Informs the PDDNRO and staff of major issues and concerns and presents recommended solutions. Participates in various planning, financial, personnel, and operating boards.
Works with functional director(s) to analyze impact(s) and determine requirements, formulate new or revised administrative program policies, and determine the need for new or revised regulations, policies, or procedures.

Specialized experience required for this position is :
1. Providing a comprehensive range of direct executive level office support, extensive scheduling and meeting/appointment coordination, tracking and monitoring of ongoing projects and initiatives.
2. Scheduling and planning travel and itineraries for foreign and domestic travel.
3. Schedules business and social events and prepare Director for meetings.
4. Preparing and editing correspondence, briefings, presentations and forms on the behalf of a Director or senior level executive.
