The Patient Services Representative provides exceptional customer service and a high-level of hospitality, credibility and organization - from a patient’s first impression at check-in to their last impression at check-out. The Patient Services Representative is responsible for the accurate input of all patient demographic and insurance data in our Patient Management System as well as collecting co-pays and deductibles based on data provided from the Patient Management System. The Patient Services Representative acts as a patient navigator for our clinical team; ensuring accurate booking of patients, notifying the clinical team when patients arrive and when they are ready to start their clinical visit. Following the clinical visit, the Patient Services Representative also ensures patients are prepared to leave their visit by scheduling follow-up appointments and ensuring patients understand expectations for communication of follow-up requirements from the clinical team.
Act as primary receptionist by meeting/greeting patient, scheduling, collecting payments, and assisting the rest of the clinic team in a fast paced, high volume setting.
Develop strong relationships with patients and ensure consistent delivery of an exceptional patient experience over the phone and in person.
Maintain knowledge and proficiency in skin care products, procedures and promotions.
Utilize “soft selling” skills to increase existing patient business on procedures and product sales.
Ensure compliance with all established company policies and procedures.
Monitor patient flow and adjust front office scheduling assignments as needed.
Assists with reporting and cash reconciliation.
Assists other team members to ensure efficiency and the best customer experience possible

Previous medical office experience
Exceptional customer service and time management skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment while maintaining professionalism
Experience in billing and insurance procedures
Strong computer skills and accurate data entry skills, must have strong typing capabilities
Communication and team building skills
