The Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs, will oversee all production legal work for NBCUniversal’s Digital Enterprises organization. Primary job duties involve negotiating and draftingagreements (such as development agreements, talent agreements and production services agreements) for “digital first” and “digital derivative” programming, including for the organization’s scripted content studio joint venture with Snap.
Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret contracts and other documents, including primarily agreements relating to the production of “digital first” and “digital derivative” programming.
Advise and coordinate with creative executives, production risk attorneys and others to identify and resolve business and legal issues and provide ongoing counsel, advice and support, with a focus on the production of “digital first” programming.
Partner with NBCU business executives to discuss and implement best practices and formulate new processes in connection with evolving business needs.
Create and update forms.
Other matters at the direction of the Senior Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs.
Member of a state bar in good standing
A minimum of 3 years of entertainment and/or intellectual property expertise, with specific experience handling production legal work.
Minimum 10 years of law experience either in-house or at a firm
