We are currently expanding our campus to include a 26,000 square foot clinic building with additional therapy space, vocational training spaces, community skills labs (mock doctor, dentist, barber, shopping), and a mini-apartment for independent living skills practice! Job Summary:
Provides clinical supervision of programs, services, and staff as assigned. Administers psychological testing, conducts clinical assessments and provides therapy and counseling services to individuals diagnosed with autism and/or their family members. Must be comfortable with a primary population of children and adolescents, but also experience and knowledge of working with families and adults. Full time, part time, or independent contractor considered.

Key Responsibilities:
Provides clinical supervision of assigned staff/volunteers/interns including counselors, psychologists, BCBAs, practicum students, and other staff as assigned.
Provides clinical oversight of programs and services through the review and approval of treatment plans, program observations, and other methods.
Conducts clinical intakes and evaluations.
Provides therapy to individuals with autism and/or their family members.
Develop treatment plans, complete service notes, prepare written assessments and complete other clinical and billing documentation as needed and in accordance with agency policy and payer requirements.
Provides clinical services in accordance with accepted guidelines for treatment, and agency policies and procedures.
Conducts psychological assessments and testing including the following: Autism Diagnostic Observations Schedule (ADOS-2),Vineland Scale of Adaptive Behaviors (Vineland-3), Autism Diagnostic Interview (ADI-R), and Childhood Autism Rating Scales (CARS-2).
Models standards of professional and ethical behaviors to all staff, including the implementation of all ABC of NC policies and procedures.
Serves on interdisciplinary teams, as needed, with all staff including the LPA, program supervisors, and specialized staff (e.g. speech/language pathologist, occupational therapist, etc.).
Provides relevant training to staff and interns.
Works constructively and cooperatively with professionals from other organizations (e.g. school district personnel, speech/language pathologists, case managers, etc.).
Participates in continuing education activities within and outside of ABC of NC and stay abreast of current research in the field of autism treatment/education and maintain applicable licensures and accreditations as appropriate.
Attends and contributes to staff and other organizational meetings.
Develops and/or refines ABC of NC Autism Clinic programs/services and written materials to serve the current market.
Performs administrative duties as outlined by the Policies and Procedures Manual.
Monitors ABC of NC’s HIPAA compliance standards.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to observe and move with children in natural environments (e.g. school and outside or in community and on peer dates).
Must be able to type on a computer keyboard.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills):
Current NC Doctoral license in psychology or eligibility for licensure.
Knowledge of child development and/or childhood clinical psychology and applied behavior analysis.
Exceptional communication skills, including writing/oral presentation and listening skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Computer skills including strong Word skills and basic Excel skills, and working in EHR/EMR systems.
Pass a criminal background check.
Must be fun, upbeat, energetic and creative.
Present a professional physical appearance according to employee guidelines.
Bilingual preferred - ideally, the ability to understand and to make one's self understood to all Spanish speaking individuals.
