**SUMMARY**

The **Professional Services Automation (PSA) Platform Manager** works closely with Business and Functional teams to evaluate business drivers and technology requirements, and defines systems strategies and specifications tailored to meet business requirements. The PSA Platform Manager acts as a primary point of contact with the business on behalf of the application development organization. In this capacity, the PSA Platform Manager is also a leader for change and process improvement. Additionally, the incumbent participates in system testing, training, implementation, and support, coordinating and facilitating requirements to deliver a complete application service to the business.

**SCOPE AND IMPACT OF JOB**

**Supervisory responsibilities**

The PSA Platform Manager will manage the relationship with PSA vendor platform dedicated to maintaining and supporting the technology. This role will need to have the ability to impact/influence internal and external teams.

Provides guidance, coaching and constructive feedback in order to adhere to platform’s suggested best practices.

Other duties as assigned by management. During the separation period the PSA Platform Manager will be responsible for the smooth transition exiting Pearson to the stand alone target state. He or she will be responsible for recommending the most optimal strategy that aligns with the guiding principles of the separation program.

The PSA Platform Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:

+ Negotiate with the business stakeholders the advantages of adapting the business processes following best practices, suggested by the latest advancements in software.

+ Maintain and drive optimization within the existing PSA solution

+ Own the Product roadmap and User Requirements for the PSA

+ Administration and Support of PSA Platform.

+ Identify and translate business pain points into technical solutions.

+ Responsible for activities involving the formulation of systems scope and objectives, analyzing and evaluating existing or proposed applications, and devising or modifying processes and procedures to support business objectives

+ Conducts feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and investigates the establishment and implementation of new or revised applications.

May cover such duties as preparing detailed specifications; conducting problem analysis and submitting recommendations for a solution.

**Qualifications**

**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE**

BA in Computer Science or equivalent experience managing technology.

Familiarity with Salesforce.com and SaaS technology

3-5 Years managing PSA technology is desired

Familiarity with Kimble is desired

PMP or Change Management certifications are desired.
