The Program Manager, Devices at JUUL reports to the Director of Program Management and works to drive a cross-functional team from R&D to development to ramp and launch for new product introduction at scale. He/she will take direct responsibility of one or more high priority innovative projects and will drive process excellence, resource and budgetary requirements, timelines, and communication of progress.

A JUUL Program Manager will also lead product development efforts with enthusiasm, collaboration and attention to detail. The daily goal is to drive excellence in communication through clear requirements and timelines with regular progress updates. They will take direct responsibility of one or more high priority projects and be required to produce results in a timely manner.

  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams (engineering and reliability, industrial design, GTM, marketing, sales, customer service, supply chain, manufacturing, automation, packaging) to drive new and ongoing programs
  • Define suitable strategies and objectives for programs to meet market and business needs
  • Create and maintain the program schedule, ensuring key events from different disciplines are aligned and identifying time and resources needed. Maintain the overall program schedule.
  • Excellence in execution, taking broad company and departmental strategies and driving to implementation, and problem solving
  • Identify and mitigate cross-functional risks and interdependencies and create processes to optimize efficiency
  • Bridge communication between key stakeholders
  • Facilitate decision making and escalate when necessary
  • Prepare and drive milestone reviews for executive teams
  • Facilitate agreement and reconciliation of project-level budgets
  • Assess historical performance to improve future performance
  • 5+ years experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Engineering or similar technical degree
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to influence and motivate others
  • Background leading large internal and external teams and managing those relationships effectively to drive cohesive execution across the team.
  • Ability to devise creative solutions and drive consensus for complex problems with diverse, sometimes conflicting, concerns
  • Comfortable in rapid development cycles with challenging goals
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new information and assess impact to program
  • Experience with design controls and risk management and/or working in a regulated environment and with clinical affairs and trials is a plus
  • Launching international products a plus
  • Involvement with high-volume consumer goods a plus
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills with an eye for "what-ifs".
