About the team
Zillow Group’s Legal team is looking for a Corporate Counsel with a real passion for negotiation, who enjoys working in a dynamic, collegial, customer focused environment. This role requires a dedicated and detail-oriented individual with a track record of excellent communication and fostering relationships across functions and levels. You should enjoy taking the helm on evolving contract-related processes, efficiencies and forms of an agreement while protecting the company’s interest, helping the company grow, and delivering dedicated service to clients.
About the role
You will be responsible for handling a broad range of legal matters, with a focus on licensing, product counseling, intellectual property issues, and issues related to data/content management. In this position, you will:

Draft, review and negotiate the inbound and outbound license, business development and other commercial agreements
Provide support and guidance on new products and features
Provide legal support and guidance to marketing teams, including advising on marketing initiatives
Review and support implementation of sweepstakes and other promotions, including rules and related documentation
Provide legal support in connection with consumer care issues
Assist in the protection of Zillow’s data and intellectual property rights
Perform basic legal and regulatory research
Who you are
Experience with licensing, intellectual property and commercial agreements required
Experience supporting in-house teams with product development strongly preferred
Conscientious, detail-orientated and meticulous practitioner
Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully handle competing, time-sensitive projects
Aptitude for innovative and goal-oriented problem solving
Excellent communication and analytical skills
JD with state bar admission (Washington preferred)
2+ years of relevant experience
