Major Duties
Under general supervision, the Receptionist provides general office support functions including: clerical, secretarial, center operational projects and client customer service functions. The incumbent assists with the front desk check in process for clients; assists with coordination of private rooms; answers phones and takes messages; interacts with clients on a daily basis and assists with clients' registrations or other issues; facilitates communications and reports client issues to administration; provides clinical support including data entry filing, record keeping, mail and marketing collation; maintains lobby organization and safety measures; assists with special projects in conjunction with administration; and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Equivalent to one (1) year of full-time, general office clerical work that has provided the applicant with the knowledge and abilities listed. Equivalent to full-time college or university education/vocational school training in business or job-related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year for year basis.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Working knowledge of correct English grammar, spelling, and punctuation; and office methods and basic filing systems procedures and practices. Ability and specialized skills to: learn, interpret, and communicate standard university policies and procedures; perform multiple tasks in a busy work environment; identify and resolve routine clerical problems; screen telephone calls, visitors and mail; establish and maintain a cooperative working relationships; read and write a level appropriate to the duties of the position; and operate standard office equipment and software such as Microsoft Office.

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule
The university offers an excellent benefits package.

The salary range for this classification is: $2600 - $3717 per month.
The anticipated HIRING RANGE: $2600 - $2950, dependent upon qualifications and experience.

HOURS: Full Time; 40 hours per week; 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

TEMP: This is a temporary position; end date to be determined.
