Summary:
Goldschmitt and Associates is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Business/Data Analyst with deep expertise in asset management. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business processes and data-driven decision-making, supporting Veterans Affairs’ asset management operations. The successful candidate will analyze business processes, conduct data-driven insights, and support the implementation of asset management strategies to optimize organizational efficiency and resource management.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of current asset management and facilities management processes, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to asset management operations.
- Perform data analysis to inform asset management decisions, including asset lifecycle management, inventory control, and resource allocation.
- Develop transformation roadmaps and recommend strategies to enhance asset management efficiency and effectiveness.
- Create and maintain data dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key asset management metrics and performance indicators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and management, to ensure alignment between business needs and data insights.
- Support the implementation of asset management systems, ensuring they meet organizational goals and improve decision-making.
- Perform fit-gap analysis to assess the compatibility of existing processes with new asset management technologies and strategies.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and Veterans Affairs standards in all asset management initiatives.
- Provide expert guidance on data-driven decision-making and business process reengineering (BPR) for asset management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of combined experience in business analysis and data analysis, with at least 2 years of experience in asset management.
- Expertise in asset management processes, systems, and lifecycle management.
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and advanced Excel skills.
- Proven ability to conduct business process reengineering (BPR) and fit-gap analysis.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Possess and maintain an active Public Trust with the United States Department of Veteran Affairs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics, management, or a related field preferred. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
- Familiarity with federal asset management regulations and standards is a plus.
