Purpose of Role
We are searching for a Sr. Designer to focus on and elevate Apparel for UA Women's Sportswear. The Sr. Designer will obsess the UA Women's consumer and bring design, function, and style to life. This role offers the unique opportunity to push creative boundaries and craft iconic pieces that will define the future of women's sportswear at Under Armour.
Your Impact
- Design and manage multiple product platforms that connect to the UA Brand DNA, seasonal concept, and category direction, as well as integration of product & global merchandising input.
- Work within an integrated team of design, development, and product line management; act as key point of contact for Sr. Design Director and ensure key tactical deliverables are on task.
- Make key decisions related to product and procedure
- Own creation and presentation of category content via direction from Sr. Design Director (merch pages, decks, mood boards, trim and fabric boards)
- Develop and execute clear and detailed sketches, technical packages, and BOMs
- Lead creation and milestone deliverables
- Partner directly with product and merch leads to deliver appropriate assortment.
Present as design lead at milestone meetings; design checkpoints, style design review, color review

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with typically eight (8) years of relevant experience or Master's degree with typically six (6) years of relevant experience or typically 12 years of relevant work experience without a degree.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Passion every day to design compelling and cutting-edge products.
- Strong design & creative research skills
- Solid understanding of construction and materials; preferably well-versed in manufacturing techniques.
- Ability to express concepts and ideas through sketching.
- Strong presentation skills and comfortable working with a group.
- Must be detail-oriented, able to prioritize tasks, and to successfully meet multiple deadlines
Workplace Location
- Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our New York office.
- Return to Work Designation: Three (3) days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.

Base Compensation
$109,010.00 - $149,888.75 USD
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position. UA is committed to helping our teammates succeed and advance in their careers. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
