Client Services & Marketing Coordinator

Viking Gymnastics & Dance currently has an opening for a full-time Client Services & Marketing Coordinator position. As an integral part of the registration (front desk) team, the Client Services & Marketing Coordinator position will report to and work directly under the Client Services’ Supervisor. This position requires a mix of daytime, evening, and weekend hours.

The Client Services & Marketing Coordinator position requires a professional and helpful demeanor and willingness to provide premiere service for all clients, contractors, vendors and any other individual who may enter the building. Our reception team members must consistently greet clients, answer telephones, offer assistance, use professional verbiage, and always make themselves available to the client. It is the responsibility of the reception member to provide an exceptional level of service while at the same time upholding and enforcing the rules and regulations of Viking Gymnastics & Dance. You will be the first point of contact for our guests and responsible for the branding through marketing and social media.

Client Services duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Registering clients in our database
  • Answering questions via telephone, through email, and in-person
  • Maintaining student records
  • Merchandising products
  • Basic maintenance

Social Media/Marketing duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for marketing and updating our social media platforms while keeping our customers up to date on promotions
  • Promoting Special Events that may include Birthday Parties, Kids’ Night Out, Field Trips, and more
  • Reviews and organizes photos taken during Viking classes and events
  • When relevant, informs managers of photos needed for ad campaigns/social media posts
  • Creates and follows social media calendar to ensure that our presence is maintained and posts are consistent

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from four-year college or university preferred in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Graphic Design, Hospitality or related field.

Experience:

  • At least three (3) years of Customer Service related experience and/or training in Hospitality
  • At least one (1) year of experience in a Marketing, Communications, PR or Social Media role
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite and Canva
  • Must have excellent writing skills
  • Graphics and photo editing skills required
  • Must be computer savvy
  • Background in branding, blogging, photography and videography skills a plus
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic dance and gymnastics skills a plus!
