TITLE : Finance Manager

LOCATION : Atlanta, GA

Position Summary:
In this role of Finance Manager, you will be providing financial planning and analysis for the Infrastructure organization of NCR Corporation. Looking for an energetic, team player with a strong technical accounting and finance background as well as experience providing decision support to an executive level audience.

Key Areas of Responsibility :
Provide seamless financial decision analysis support to executive level leadership (SVP-Marketing and/or SVP-HR):
 Analyze monthly department financials, communicate trends and make recommendations to executive leadership and their respective teams.
 Advise department heads to help manage expenses, identify key cost drivers and problem areas, and provide ad hoc support as required.
Work closely with supported functions to develop and consolidate the annual plan/budget:
 Prepare budgets and forecasts that are typically highly complex, including monthly/quarterly forecasts, midyear business reviews and annual budgets.
 Consistently look at process and identify opportunities for improvement/streamlining
Consolidate total Infrastructure monthly results and forecast. Provide high level commentary to Director of Corp FP&A.
Successfully perform all month end close related responsibilities including journal entry submission and creation and distribution of Outlook/Actuals Workbook. Manage, review and analyze monthly and quarterly financial results with commentary.
Manage monthly outlook calls (includes providing variance analysis versus both plan and forecast, identification of expense reduction opportunities and making recommendations on risks and opportunities).
Review and authorize capital appropriation requests for supported Infrastructure groups as needed.
Interpret and apply financial policies and procedures for each organization; encourage and monitor compliance.
Complete all assigned account reconciliations in a timely manner to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and US GAAP. Identify and execute action items to resolve reconciliation variances in a timely matter.
Ensure complete and accurate financial processing is performed; Identify and analyze potential financial issues / risks. Maintain quarterly SOX compliance.
Maintain communication and relationships with internal customers.
Provides in-depth analytical support and analysis for budgeting and forecasting processes.
Design, prepare and interpret forward looking business/financial models and other special projects as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent work experience required
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent analytical skills; Financial modeling experience
Ability to work with large amounts of data (i.e. Macros, Pivot Tables)
Detailed oriented
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Team oriented
Ability to multi-task
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management including senior corporate leadership
Proficient in Microsoft applications - Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
