About the Group
Delivery Platforms and Services(DPS) Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team focuses on delivering enterprise development tools services and development standardization programs across Deutsche Bank and we are in the process of building out a strong and dynamic engineering team.
The team takes these external technology products and engineers them to be utilized in the Deutsche Bank environment as a combined service. In addition to providing a tools platform the team focuses on providing standards and guidelines for development processes and desktop tools usage.
The primary responsibility of the SRE is to provide engineering expertise in design, deployment and maintenance of DPS tools. The SRE is the SME of the application in terms of operational knowledge and needs and work with ITAO, Level 2& 3 team, Professional Services team, vendor contacts and the rest of the SRE team to handle daily operational tasks and long term projects.

What You’ll Do
Typical operational tasks may include designing and implementing automation for application deployments, application upgrades, and application & data migrations.
The SRE also needs to understand and adhere bank policy and standards related to security and production release controls and works with the rest of the SDLC team to ensure the full compliance.
IT support or hands-on technical software development or build/release management experience
Application compliance with Deutsche Bank polices
Skills You’ll Need
Working knowledge of Windows, UNIX/Linux operating systems and networking/infrastructure
Working knowledge of database administration (Oracle, MSSQL)
Working knowledge of Tomcat and JAVA application
Working knowledge of application monitoring
JAVA development experience
Strong Agile / Kanban or DevOps background
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Ability to handle multiple projects, priorities and client-engagements simultaneously
Thoroughness, ability to implement planned activities in time and with acceptable quality
Strong analytical and technical skills
