Rigid Constructors is hiring experienced Dump Truck Drivers that have a valid Class A CDL License to operate in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Arkansas. Our large civil construction jobs are throughout the Gulf Coast region. You may need to work at one of those sites. Hourly rate plus per diem when travelling.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Safely operate a manual/standard dump truck to transport materials to and from job sites
· Must be willing to travel to other job sites in gulf coast and work on those jobs
· Ensure all equipment is maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner
· Follow all traffic laws and regulations
· Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the dump truck
· Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records of materials transported
· Maintain DOT compliance at all times
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum two (2) years operating heavy equipment such as dump trucks, tractors, or other heavy equipment
· Knowledge and ability to effectively complete all routine and general maintenance on dump truck
· Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols and DOT compliance
· Must pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 65 per week
