POSITION: Shipping/Receiving Lead
About the role:
The Shipping/Receiving Lead requires a determined individual interested in helping our business grow by promoting a culture of teamwork, dedication and superior customer care. You will be responsible for supporting the management with directing the daily activities of the warehouse, including receiving, storing and shipping of products as well as quality control and first article inspection.
What you’ll do:
- Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees where appropriate
- Anticipate potential schedule or priority delays and initiate plan for alternative actions
- Lead team of workers to accurate ship out a high volume of orders in a timely manner
- Ensure all procedures are in place and activities align with company goals and objectives
- Lead by example with a positive “can do” attitude that motivates others in the location
- Enforce quality standards and procedures
- Proactively identify and prevent quality issues from occurring
- Commit to ongoing improvement in the workplace by proactively seeking feedback and monitoring operational processes
- Perform inventory counts
- Assist with shipping and receiving of materials
- Create quality documents, when necessary including first article inspection
- Has certification or willingness to become certified in operating a forklift
- Enforce basic housekeeping standards and Company-implemented safe operating procedures (OSHA, PPE, etc.)
- Develop and maintain excellent customer satisfaction by providing unmatched quality & service
- Perform other duties as assigned

What you’ll need:
- 5+ years of warehouse experience, 2+ years in a supervisory capacity
- Ability to calculate requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Sense of urgency
- Attention to detail
- Follow all safety procedures
- High level of honesty and integrity
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must pass a background investigation as part of the selection process
- Must pass the drug test as part of the selection process
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
- (Preferred) – High School Diploma or GED

Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
