As part of the Global Sales, Marketing and General and Administrative (G&A) Staffing Diversity and Inclusion Strategy team, you will develop and drive an innovative strategy to cultivate talent for short and long term hiring needs. This strategy will include a focus on our external brand efforts and will work to build relationships with niche talent to ensure they remain informed about opportunities at Google.
As a Talent Engagement Specialist, you will understand our hiring needs and our commitment to excellent candidate experience while expanding our capacity and assessment techniques, inclusive hiring processes and internal and external relationships. You will enable staffing and client teams to assess talent with a competency-based lens. Additionally, you will build partnerships and encourage collaboration across clients and People Operations teams to align best practices, tools and resources. You will also partner with Talent and Outreach teams to ensure staffing and business engagement with key events and organizations.

Develop and drive a talent engagement strategy based on demonstrated understanding of competency-based needs across Sales, Marketing and G&A functions.
Consult with recruiters and leaders to identify both short and long-term engagement opportunities, focusing on inclusive hiring strategies, while ensuring effective engagement.
Guide our Go-to-Market strategies to yield positive outcomes across all stages of pipeline engagement.
Create and sustain a partnership protocol with cross-functional teams, while expanding support and resources.
Serve as a brand ambassador by modeling and streamlining established tools (e.g. social media, narratives/talking points) and support established event and programming approaches, while highlighting new opportunities for engagement.
5 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment.
Experience in sourcing, research and pipelining techniques.
Experience in client facing recruiting efforts.
Experience using ATS systems and a disposition to quickly learn new ones.
Experience driving employment branding and candidate experience strategies.
Experience sourcing candidates through networking, internet postings and university relations.
Experience facilitating trainings, presentations and large scale communications with high attention to detail and operational expertise.
Experience building and growing relationships across organizations and industries.
Ability to influence across multiple teams.
