We are searching for team members to help us solve complex system engineering problems. The ideal candidate will join our diverse, seasoned engineering team, leveraging your mature understanding of Linux RHEL/CentOS and system engineering concepts. Applicants selected must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance; therefore, US Citizenship is required, and TS/SCI candidates are preferred.
Responsibilities:
Apply knowledge of Linux operating systems
Deploy and support custom software solutions
Build, monitor, and maintain secure configuration standards
Write and peer review automated scripts
Debug solutions in deployed operating environments
Leverage automated deployment and provisioning tools
Author and maintain support documentation
Demonstrate understanding of system engineering processes and information security’s role those in those processes
Improve system infrastructure and evolve existing solutions
Learn and attend training on new, unfamiliar technologies
Qualifications:
Preferred Skills
3+ years of Linux system administration
Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred
Professional understanding of Linux RHEL/CentOS
Experience with Puppet, Ansible or similar systems
Experience deploying VMWare solutions
Familiar with Linux security and hardening
Familiar with network routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
Familiar with Agile methodologies
On-call availability
Possess an active US government security clearance
Education
Relevant college degree plus three years of experience, or four years of relevant experience
