Administrative Assistant of Records

Supervises the records division within the Office of the University Registrar. These responsibilities consist of processing transcript request, processing grade change request, updating and ensuring accuracy of all student records and will work with third party vendors to ensure accuracy and security of a student’s educational records.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Maintains an up-to-date schedule of personal and sick leave for records area staff.
Supervises the student records area of the Registrar’s Office. Duties include: implementing approved academic policy and providing security of student records.
Develops and updates accurate business processes within the student information system for the student records area.
Supervises the imaging of documents related to student’s educational record.
Supervises the transcript processing area of the Registrar’s Office. Duties include: ensuring timely processing of transcript requests, supervising the data entry and accuracy of historical records converted to current student information system and ensures proper audit procedures are followed when processing transcript fees.

Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma. Familiar with Microsoft word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
