The Manager, SAP Basis / Enterprise Platform Services plays a critical leadership role in delivering consistent, high performance enterprise applications for Lennox International, Inc. (LII). The successful candidate will manage the team responsible for designing, implementing and supporting system architectures for SAP/Enterprise applications and databases.
Manage a team of skilled SAP and Database technology experts in support of company goals, and department objectives.
Work with internal and external resources, as appropriate, to ensure quality service delivery and system availability
Manage day-to-day systems operations in support of all business areas.
Identify potential opportunities as well as limitations in our enterprise architectures and solutions to address
Participate in System Architecture Review Board, ensuring proposed system design and implementation is effective and appropriate for the business case
Facilitate Proof of Concept activities as required
Provide clear, concise, timely and transparent communications to business and technical teams
Prioritize work for team members while driving quality and accountability
Develop and proactively monitor operational metrics
Build and foster positive, productive relationships with business and technology partners
Drives high level support for incoming incident tickets to resolve application and software issues
Owns and achieves appropriate IT General Controls in support of annual Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) audits
Fulfill HR leadership responsibilities for performance management, development, career guidance
Manage cost center operational and capital budgets
Self-motivated and directed in establishing and executing on priorities
Demonstrated ability to work with and influence senior level management and key stakeholders
Experience in leading and working with geographically dispersed teams
Experience with corporate governance and audit processes
Experience developing business cases and return on investment analyses
Proven track record using analytical skills to evaluate system performance, system health checks, and implementation of tuning improvements
Minimum 7 years of SAP BASIS support experience in a large-sized SAP environment
Experience in SAP production support on Linux and Oracle
5+ years of experience leading teams
