Position Summary:
The Content & Social Media Marketing Specialist is responsible for growing and optimizing Pieology’s social media presence, leveraging best practices to drive both organic and paid engagement. The role is responsible for creating and executing social media campaigns, managing the social media advertising budget, overseeing the social media content calendar, and acting as the primary liaison with influencer partners. The Content & Social Media Marketing Specialist will oversee the development of Pieology’s social properties, fine-tuning our social brand voice, defining goals and objectives for specific social media platforms, and leveraging opportunities to expand the company’s digital presence through new platforms and partnerships. The ideal fit for this position has social media advertising experience, a solid understanding of the current digital marketing landscape, has experience with a multi-unit (aka “enterprise”) management social scope, and is passionate about the Pieology brand.

Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day social presence and content distribution/curation on all brand platforms.
Work seamlessly as a key member of the marketing team, assisting with the organic and paid promotion of multiple short-term and long-term campaigns.
Develop social media program initiatives to increase membership and engagement.
Become fully immersed in the brand and culture of Pieology.
Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
Monitor and recommend emerging social networking trends and social media best practices.
Create, implement and facilitate social media education and awareness within corporate and franchise community.
Partner with Local Store Marketing Managers to develop templatized social media graphics for localized and regional use.
Actively engage social media guests and respond to guest questions, complaints or compliments on social media and reputation platforms.
Assist Sr. Manager of Brand Marketing on managing and leveraging partner agencies.
Provide ongoing assistance as required.

Qualifications:
3-5 years + professional experience in developing and analyzing digital campaigns and social media marketing campaigns for a strong brand in the retail/lifestyle/hospitality industry.
Understands SEM and SEO best practices to assist with site and campaign optimization to improve search engine rankings through content marketing
Experience in online influencer marketing.
Must have demonstrated experience and success with the business applications of social media platforms including: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, Google+, Instagram, LinkedIn and more.
Knowledge of social media and reputation management tools.
Experience in running both organic and paid online and offline events, promotions and contests.
Possesses Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced working environment.
Displays the ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in a written, graphic and video format.
Exhibits a team-player attitude and is confident in taking the lead and guiding team members and agency partners when necessary.
Is motivated, creative, and curious with a self-starter mentality.
Possesses a keen eye for quality content that is brand appropriate.
Stays abreast of the ever-evolving digital behaviors, technologies and trends.
Is a passionate advocate of the brand online and offline.
