Full Job Description
The Challenge:
Everyone is trying to “harness the power of the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As a cloud architect, you know how to build a cloud based technical architecture that meets customer needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. What if you could use your cloud architecture skills to improve warfighter communications or healthcare privacy? We need you to help us develop cloud-based solutions to some of the DoD's toughest challenges.
As a cloud architect on our team, you’ll serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in planning Exchange, SharePoint and Teams architectures. You are able to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft cloud technical and user support issues. Recommend improvements on existing Exchange, SharePoint and directory architectures. Have a strong understanding of Active Directory enhancements across Cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. Able to meet with stakeholders to gather requirements for enhancing and modifying managed sites on an ongoing basis. Assist with Exchange Online, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory administration tasks, perform data migration with no data loss and minimal downtime, produce PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive tasks, and simplify complex ones. Recommend Cybersecurity enhancements to protect system data integrity for all implementation types, including online, on premises, and hybrid and ensure solutions are designed to maintain the highest levels of availability. Service dependability while in compliance with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and DoD and agency policies and standards. Perform root cause analysis of critical outage and incidents, engineer permanent solutions, and coordinate implementation, as needed.
