Client Service Specialist - Group Health Services

Job Summary: Responsible for leading new group health client program implementation and oversight and maintenance of existing client services. Working with new or existing clients, coordinate enrollment efforts, conduct on-site employee meetings, manage ID card design and printing, and facilitate banking arrangements and contracting. Manage on-going client relationships and serve as liaison to marketing/sales department, assisting with proposal development. Ensure that stop loss submission and related reporting is timely and accurate. Lead effort with group health services staff to review client plan documents and consult with clients about plan recommendations. Work with sales team to employ PBM and other vendors on behalf of clients. Develop and maintain client services documentation and correspondence files as they relate to group health services. Lead group health client service efforts, interfacing with Group Health Management, QL System Administrator, Enrollment, Billing, QA, IS, Provider Relations and Care Management staff among others. Actively maintain contact with sales team to make sure services are integrated and not duplicative

Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's level degree in management, risk management or communications or significant, related commensurate business experience is required beyond the minimum experience requirements. A minimum of five (5) years of direct experience in the group health benefits field including customer service experience is required. Complete, current working knowledge of relevant State and Federal regulations required. Must have the capacity to work with QicLink information system, good communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products required. Must be a skilled, confident and professional communicator in both written and verbal interactions. Must possess confidence to interact with client representatives in HR and, at times, at C-suite level.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in client management, group health customer service or claims processing experience; Sales or service experience; Experience as a plan builder; Claims/Insurance designations.

Licensure and Certifications: PA Accident and Health sales license preferred but, not required.
