Job Description
United Truck & Equipment, a leading manufacturer of water trucks and tank systems is seeking a Water Truck Assembler to join our team! You will be responsible for the final assembly of water trucks and tank systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install power take offs on a variety of heavy duty trucks
- Install back up alarms, auxiliary lighting, and D.O.T. lighting
- Install plumbing and valves
- Install hydraulic systems
- Route all electric and air control lines
- Mount tank on chassis
- Check parts and pack tank kits
Qualifications:
- Previous mechanical and electrical experience desired
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to handle a physical workload
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to be standing for extended periods of time
- Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder
- Constantly working in outdoor weather conditions
- Own hand tools and air tools not required but desired
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check is required
- ***Competitive pay as well as possible sign on bonus based on experience***
- Shift 6:00am-2:30pm (Monday -Friday)
